Casa Tejonera in Sayulita is located in the lush tropical jungle. Only a ten minute walk to the center of Sayulita.
This magical home is only a few feet away from an (almost private) sandy beach and therefore boasts are an incredible view of the ocean. You can fall asleep listening to the sound of waves.
Casa Tejonera is still our vacation home so you can be sure to enjoy the same level of cleanliness, comfort and service that we owners enjoy. We insist our clients have the same experience we always get when we come and visit our beautiful Sayulita home.

Casa Tejonera is a charming beachfront one bedroom apartment, located just south of Sayulita, past Playa de los Muertos, within walking distance from town. It is about one kilometer to the village on a beautiful road through the jungle, where you can enjoy nature and the sounds of birds. We do recommend that you bring flashlights if you plan to walk to town at night.
Guests to Casa Tejonera will enjoy access to the nearly private beach , in gated community , shared by three other houses located nearby. The beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, it is located on a little bay so the waves are very gentle.
This unit does not have access to the Pool which is exclusive for Casa Buque, our two bedroom unit.

Better than Perfect!
This was our second stay at Casa Tejonera and it felt like coming home to be there again. The apartment, like before, was immaculate with everything you need to cook if you want to, relax, and enjoy the peace and beautiful view. The owner has amazing taste in art and we love the paintings, folk art and details in the construction of the home that add to the tranquility and charm. The king size bed is so comfortable and with the sound of the surf all night long we slept like babies. We love the staff- Eric, the caretaker, was quick to replenish our water jug, and attend to any need we had. We enjoyed two meals prepared by his wife and his mother. They are all such nice people.
We hope to be back in 2027 and thank the owner for all the details that help us feel so at home.

A amazingly private little retreat overlooking the ocean!
This pace is the epitome of hidden gem. Wile the apartment is not super modern, its go that old enticing Mexican charm , located deep in the jungle and has a million dollar view overlooking the Playa de los Meurtos and the ocean. Fall asleep listening to the waves at night, wake and walk to your private beach. Its ana mazing little slcie of paradise and only 5 min golf cart ride from town. I'll be back!

Incredible getaway
From the moment I contacted Leticia I knew we had found the right spot. Her punctuality, communication, and friendliness gave us the reassurance I needed to make the decision to stay at Casa Tejonera. We were greeted by the property manager (Eric) as soon as we arrived and he walked us through the rental and ensured we knew where everything was and how things worked and we felt very very safe. Whenever there was an issue we could contact Eric and he was there at a drop of the hat! We had our place cleaned every other day and it was a tremendous perk to help us stay organized. The rental itself was very special and tranquil, offering incredible views above the ocean cliffs. A quick 15 minute stroll from center town Sayulita or a 5 minute golf cart ride created the privacy and remoteness needed to feel off the beaten path. The full kitchen had everything we needed to cook any meal and plenty of seating in the living room. Great water pressure in the shower and one comfy bed that offered a natural sound machine with the waves crashing against the rocks below easily putting you to sleep every night. A almost private beach 30 steps below Casa Tejonera made it easy for a swim and relaxing rest on the beach at anytime throughout the day. There are also a few additional beaches that are perfect for a western sunset view just a quick golf cart ride away provided endless opportunities at your fingertips. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this rental for a couple looking to enjoy the privacy, beauty, and tranquility of Sayulita! Muchas Gracias Leticia, we will be back!

Absolutely the best view in all of Sayulita!
I REALLY want give this place a bad review so no will show up and it will be available to us anytime we want, LOL. It’s a magical place far enough removed that you don’t hear anything but the ocean and nature, even during Día de los Muertos at the cemetery. The road coming in is rough (keeps things quiet), the area is gated and Eddie the caretaker has a few dogs that will let you know if someone is coming or going. Eddie is great (speaks no English) and will bend over backwards for you if needed, please tip him and the housekeeper. The private beach is AMAZING to have… I’ll never want to visit a public beach again after this! I’ll see you next year Casa Tejonera!!! 😎

Absolutely perfect !!
We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Tejonera. The view was priceless, falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves was exactly how we pictured our vacation. The bed was super comfortable. They provided a water jug and coffee which was amazing. Just a short walk from town so it was far away from all the noise. This place was perfect for our vacation!
